Born and educated in London, U.K., Tony spent the early years of his professional life working on consumer packaged goods advertising accounts. Since moving to the U.S. permanently in 1983, he has held senior roles on both the agency and client-sides of the business working for companies, such as Intuit, Experian, and Acxiom, supporting clients in the automotive, retail, technology, and financial services industries. His 20 + years data and analytics knowledge and experience spans traditional CRM and direct response marketing, as well as online marketing areas, such as paid search, display, social media, and conversion optimization.
Prior to recently joining Covario, a leading international search marketing agency and technology provider, Tony ran his own independent digital analytics consulting firm for 4 years, specializing in the development of analytics and insight capabilities for digital agencies and corporate clients, and the evaluation and implementation of analytics, data management, marketing automation, and testing and optimization tools and technologies.
He is Google Analytics certified, and Adobe Site Catalyst officially trained. Some of the clients Tony has worked for in the U.S., include Nissan, Toyota, Mazda, KIA, Hyundai, GAP companies, Microsoft, XM/Sirius, HP, Nike, and Limited Brands.
Tony is married, and lives in Southern California.
